Day 1: Monday
Edinburgh – Port Stewart (Derry)

Port Stewart – Donegal Town

Visit the medieval walled city of Derry and hear about 'the troubles' of Northern Ireland amongst the murals at the site of tragic 'Bloody Sunday'. Cross the border into the Republic of Ireland taking in the increadible views from an ancient hillfort. Learn of Saints and Leaprichaun's through breathtaking Gaelic speaking Glencolmcille to the highest seacliffs in Europe before spending the night in lovely Donegal Town.

Donegal - Dublin

More about the 'troubles' passing through beautiful Enniskillin. Visit the monk's tower in Kells where the famous 'book of Kells' was held in the 6th century. Hear about the most famous battle in Irish history along the river Boyne. Explore the capital city Dublin where you will have time to see some of its many attractions including the Guinness brewery, Old Jameson distillery, Kilmainham jail and of course Irish music in the pubs of lively Temple Bar.

Day 4: Thursday
Dublin – Edinburgh

Book this tour...After a morning in Dublin hear of the massacre in Drogheda and see Oliver Plunket's severed head. – Yes a real head! Cross the border to the capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast and view the murals along the Republican Falls road and Unionist West Belfast, before crossing the Irish sea back to Scotland. We travel through Scotland's biggest city Glasgow before returning to Edinburgh.
